This April, Rock Steady Boxing SRQ, located at 347 Interstate Blvd., will join millions in observing Parkinson’s Awareness Month. A progressive disorder of the nervous system that affects the ability to walk, talk, balance and move, Rock Steady Boxing SRQ gives those living with Parkinson’s hope today by offering a non-contact, boxing-inspired fitness routine proving to dramatically improve their quality of life.
Sarasota, Florida (March 2, 2017) – B-Mo Fit, an independent provider of fitness services, is now affiliated with a nationally recognized exercise program called Rock Steady Boxing. Designed to help people with Parkinson’s disease fight their disease, the program uses the fundamentals of boxing training combined with specific exercises.

B-Mo Fit presents a back-to-school 21-day detox challenge that anyone, anywhere can participate in. This challenge is aimed at participants whose goal it is to lose weight, inches, body fat and harmful toxins.
Youth and high school sports are more competitive than ever. Nobody knows this better than Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Maureen Corristan. On June 9th, Corristan will launch a 4 week Academy for strength, speed and agility at EXTRA INNINGS in Sarasota to share her revolutionary techniques to build an athlete from the ground up. This program will not only help make youth and high school athletes stronger and faster, but foundationally stable which will decrease injury and increase performance.
B-Mo Fit will be collecting diapers for Mother’s Helping Mothers on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 9:00am at Extra Innings, 717 Cattlemen Road and are offering a free workout to those who donate at least $15 worth of diapers.
B-Mo Fit's owner Maureen Corristan, who has degrees in sports medicine and exercise physiology, along with more than two decades’ experience as an athletic trainer, was highlighted in the February issue of Sarasota Magazine.
