I have been a client of Maureen's for four years now. When I first started, it was because I was bored with my running routine. I ran. I have always exercised regularly as a teenager, and adult, but my fitness goals were just to stay active. Since then, I have found that regular metabolic weight training has really improved my overall strength, and helped me define specific areas on my body. I also started eating differently(reducing bad carbs), and have lost a total of 60 lbs. in the last 4 years.
I feel that this program is one of the best ways to increase strength, and because it promotes good form, I feel that it is more of a lifestyle to sustain functional fitness as we age. I also have come full circle, as I now teach the workouts when Maureen is away. I cannot say enough positive things about the program. I love that every workout is different, so I never get bored. I think that is key for a lot of people trying to stay active and fit.
